What an exciting week we had!

Our release of FreshWomen Season 2 Episode 3 Part 1 was a huge success, with more than 3000 copies downloaded in the first week and 94% positive reviews!

In other news, we’re already working on Season 2 Episode 3 Part 2, and man, have we hit the ground running. We’re already done with the blocking stage! A few corrections and improvements are necessary here and there, but our team is already on it. Next week we’ll move all scenes to lighting and facial expressions!

Our animation pipeline is finally clicking with Mocap, and our animator is working miracles! We’ve made a few changes in how we deal with different processes, and today we finished blocking EVERY animation that’ll be in the next release. They’ll go through a round of feedbacks next week, then go to the next stages: secondary movement, tertiary movement, hair and render. I believe that by the end of next week, we’ll send our first animations to final render and sound design!

I’m very happy with this production speed! Our team has improved a lot over the last few months, and I can’t wait to see where we’ll be in the near future.

Here’s a quick summary of our progress on Season 2 Episode 3 Part 2:

• Blocking: DONE, but a few corrections are necessary;
• Lighting: 0 scenes done, 8 to go;
• Facial Expression: 0 scenes done, 8 to go!;
• Cloth Simulation and Polish: 0 scenes done, 8 to go;
• Animations: 27 animations blocked, going to review and then next stages;
• Characters, Script and Storyboards are done!
• Voice Acting is done!

We made a few improvements to our skin shaders, so you’ll see a quality bump in the next part. We’ll also debut the cloth simulation system I mentioned a few weeks ago, and a hair simulation system that showed A LOT of potential. If we get these tech improvements to work as expected, our release times will be even better!

By the way, Forbidden Fantasy Chapter 3 is entering its final stretch, and we’ll announce a release date for it soon!

I’m honestly amazed at the work the Forbidden Fantasy team is doing, and I’m sure you’ll be too. Chapter 3 has very impressive visuals, great animations and a surprising story.

Wheeew! What a lovely week!

I sometimes look back at how things were when we started, and it is incredible how things have changed. With a lot of hard work, and a lot of support from you, we managed to turn an idea into mesmerizing order, constant improvement and productivity. When I play our games, I get emotional because I feel that it was worth it!
